Course description

What will i learn?

  • What You Will Achieve By the End of This Course By completing this Complete JAMB UTME Physics course, you will be able to: Identify and use fundamental and derived physical quantities with their correct SI units. Operate various measuring instruments (metre rule, vernier caliper, micrometer screw gauge, etc.) and determine degrees of accuracy. Determine dimensions of physical quantities and test the homogeneity of equations. Solve numerical problems on motion (linear, projectile, circular, and Simple Harmonic Motion). Apply Newton’s laws, principles of moments, equilibrium of forces, and conservation laws correctly. Analyse concepts in heat, thermal expansion, gas laws, waves, sound, and light (reflection, refraction, lenses, optical instruments). Understand and solve problems in electrostatics, current electricity, magnetism, electromagnetic induction, and A.C. circuits. Explain basic modern physics topics including atomic structure, radioactivity, photoelectric effect, and semiconductors. Express measurements in standard form and estimate simple errors. Confidently tackle JAMB UTME Physics objective questions with speed and accuracy. Bonus Outcome: Develop scientific attitudes of accuracy, precision, objectivity, and strong problem-solving skills needed for success in UTME and beyond.

Requirements

  • Requirements Basic knowledge of Junior Secondary School Science (recommended but not compulsory) Interest in Physics and willingness to solve numerical problems Access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet connection Notebook and pen/pencil for taking notes and solving problems Determination to practice regularly (UTME success requires consistent practice) No advanced mathematics or prior Physics knowledge is required — the course starts from the fundamentals and builds step by step.

Frequently asked question

This course is designed for JAMB UTME candidates preparing for Physics. It is also useful for secondary school students (SS1–SS3) who want to build a strong foundation in Physics.

Yes! The course is structured according to the official JAMB UTME Physics syllabus, covering all topics, objectives, and recommended skills.

All major topics including Measurements & Units, Motion, Forces, Work/Energy/Power, Heat, Waves, Sound, Light, Electricity, Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction, and Modern Physics.

Yes. Each module includes explanations, examples, and UTME-style objective questions with solutions to help you practice effectively.

Absolutely. You can study anytime, anywhere at your own pace. Access the materials 24/7 once enrolled.

Basic Science knowledge from Junior Secondary is helpful, but the course starts from fundamentals and builds up gradually.

Yes. It focuses on key objectives, problem-solving techniques, dimensional analysis, error estimation, and standard form — all major areas tested in JAMB Physics.

Video lessons, detailed notes, diagrams, formula sheets, quizzes, and downloadable summaries.

[Add this if Glona offers certificates] Upon completion, you will receive a course completion certificate.

Approximately 20–40 hours depending on your pace. Most students complete it in 4–8 weeks while preparing for UTME.
